(I aplogize to the Hebrew speakers - this one needs to be in English)

Just now I had the weirdest experience. Wrapped up a two-day workshop with various smart people talking about requirements for the next generation NetWeaver UI. I know this is a bad habit, but I usually don't bother listening to the round of introductions at the morning of each day - I just can't make myself remember all these german names…

Today was no different - the round of introductions was held, I spaced and let the discussions begin. During the day, one of the participants proved to be very interesting and very sharp. Someone I could definately talk to to get better perpective of SAP customers. So - I've asked one of my colleagues to tell me the guy’s name. Turns out its Thomas Otter which writes vendorprisey. Vendorprisey is one of my favorite blogs, I read it on a regular basis and usually agree with every word written there. Especially about the SAP culture…. So weird to be in the same room with someone you regularly read. Are bloggers the new pop-stars? Had I known who he was would I have listened differently? Who knows. Weird. Feel like a character from a book just stepped in front of me in the street

Update: Here is what Otter is saying about the workshop…
